Job summary

Heartland Builders is a custom home builder serving Grand Rapids, Holland, and the Lakeshore. We seek a part-time Marketing Specialist to keep our brand consistent, professional, and visible across every customer touchpoint.

You will collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager to execute daily marketing tasks including writing, social media, photo/video, and design. Required: 2+ years in marketing/communications, strong writing, and experience managing business social media.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in marketing, communications, or content creation.
• Strong writing with a warm, clear voice and attention to detail.
• Experience managing business social media accounts.
• Able to shoot/edit short-form video and photos (phone or camera).
• Experience updating website content and sending email campaigns.
• Highly organized and dependable with deadlines.
• Valid driver's license + reliable transportation for job site visits.
• Lives in or near Holland, Lakeshore, or Grand Rapids; must work in person.

Responsibilities

• Guard brand voice and visual consistency across all touchpoints.
• Write one blog post per month and newsletters/prospect emails.
• Gather reviews and repurpose into marketing content.
• Manage daily posting on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn; maintain Houzz and Pinterest.
• Film and edit short-form video and photos; visit homes for content.
• Update website and design flyers/signs; manage content calendar.
• Build and maintain a content calendar.
