Job description

Carey International Group is a U.S.-based family office developing and operating projects across advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, luxury real estate, and aviation — including ventures such as Magnifica and Magnifica Air. Guided by a philosophy of Structure, Speed, Scale, the Group builds and scales businesses designed to lead their sectors while delivering lasting value to stakeholders, partners, and the communities it serves.

As our portfolio of brands grows, we're looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to serve as the connective tissue between our business leadership and our brand marketing team — ensuring the right projects get scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time across our family of businesses.

Position Summary

The Brand Marketing Manager acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the brand marketing team, shaping brand strategy while translating business needs into clearly scoped marketing projects and ensuring those projects move efficiently through the pipeline. This role owns brand positioning and consistency across the Group's family of businesses, alongside the intake, definition, prioritization, and tracking of marketing work — helping the organization move with the speed and discipline our portfolio companies require, without sacrificing brand quality or consistency.

This is a highly cross-functional role suited to someone who thrives at the intersection of brand strategy, project management, and brand marketing execution.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy
  • Help define and evolve brand positioning, voice, and architecture across the Group's family of businesses, ensuring each brand is differentiated while staying aligned to the parent company's overall vision.
  • Partner with business and marketing leadership to translate business goals into brand strategy inputs — audience definition, positioning, messaging pillars, and go-to-market approach — that inform the projects entering the pipeline.
  • Serve as a steward of brand standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency across sub-brands, channels, and campaigns as the portfolio scales.
  • Bring market, competitive, and audience insight to strategic discussions to help sharpen how each brand shows up and where it should invest.
  • Recommend where brand architecture decisions are needed (e.g., how a new sub-brand or offering should relate to the parent brand) and help facilitate those conversations with stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business unit leaders and the brand marketing team, ensuring business objectives are clearly understood and translated into actionable marketing projects.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines; build and maintain clear, well-structured scope documents for new initiatives.
  • Ensure all marketing requests and projects are properly logged and tracked in the project management system, with complete and accurate information.
  • Facilitate project prioritization discussions, balancing business urgency, resource capacity, and strategic impact across the Group's family of brands.
  • Manage and maintain the marketing project pipeline end-to-end, proactively flagging bottlenecks, resourcing conflicts, or timeline risks.Drive speed-to-market by keeping projects moving through each stage of the workflow and removing process obstacles.
  • Provide regular status updates and pipeline visibility to both business stakeholders and the brand marketing team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve intake, prioritization, and workflow processes as the portfolio scales.
Qualifications
Required:
  • 3–5 years of experience in brand marketing, brand strategy, marketing project management, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to or owning brand positioning, messaging, copywriting and brand architecture decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong scoping and documentation skills — able to translate ambiguous business requests into clear, actionable project briefs.
  • Working knowledge of project management systems/tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable operating as a liaison between business and creative/marketing teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize competing demands across multiple brands or business units.
Preferred:
  • Experience in hospitality, aviation, or luxury/premium consumer brands.
  • Experience working within a multi-brand or family-of-businesses structure.
  • Familiarity with brand governance and maintaining consistency across sub-brands.
What Success Looks Like
  • Projects are consistently well-scoped, properly logged, and moving through the pipeline without unnecessary delays.
  • Business stakeholders trust the intake and prioritization process and feel heard.
  • The brand marketing team has the clarity and lead time needed to execute high-quality work.
  • Speed-to-market improves measurably as pipeline visibility and process discipline increase.
