We are looking for a Brand Marketing Leader who will lead brand marketing strategy and activation for the Residential HVAC business of Trane Technologies, for leading brands Trane®, American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning®, RunTru by Trane and Ameristar by American Standard.

Leveraging consumer insights and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, this individual will develop and execute marketing strategies that build our brands across all touchpoints and capitalize on growth opportunities with homeowners, HVAC contractors and key stakeholders.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Leader, Residential HVAC, this role will partner across marketing, communications, sales, customer experience and other functions to create and execute brand marketing strategies to meet KPIs and drive business growth.

This individual will work in close partnership with the global brand team to ensure all brand marketing strategy and activation aligns with Trane Technologies’ brand architecture, identity standards and governance model.

Brand Marketing Strategy: Translate business objectives into actionable brand marketing strategic plans to reach and influence target audiences Influential Storytelling: Craft consistent narrative across all touchpoints to differentiate and amplify the brand, building equity and influence Operational Excellence: Prioritize efforts effectively, manage capacity to deliver tactical execution of strategic plans to ensure successful outcomes, and drive operational effectiveness to achieve measurable results. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a matrixed organization, balancing the needs of various partners and stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships. Strong business acumen, proven leadership skill and excellent communication A "growth mindset" with a passion for continuous improvement and a bias for action.

Responsibilities:
  • Brand Activation: Develop insights-driven marketing strategies to influence key customer segments activated through campaigns, digital, social, sponsorship and experiential to drive business growth
  • Campaign Management: Provide strategic leadership for homeowner (B2C) and contractor (B2B) briefs and campaigns defining target audiences through KPIs aligned to business growth
  • Sponsorships & Partnerships: Develop and manage comprehensive sponsorship and partnership strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and communications teams to drive brand consistency and prioritized storytelling through owned and paid channels (social, PR, digital, etc.)
  • Own activation, campaign execution and channel-level brand application for Residential HVAC brands, while engaging the global brand team on brand strategy, architecture, visual identity standards and governance.
  • Lead relationships with external agency partners to drive campaign creative development, planning, setting KPIs, and evaluating results across various channels
  • Own branded narratives creating compelling brand stories and activation programs within the dealer channel.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in brand marketing or management, or communications/public relations, ideally working on building brands within the B2B and B2C brands Proven success in developing and executing large scale brand campaigns for leading brands Hands-on experience managing brand campaigns, sponsorships, and content strategy Experience managing internal/external resources, agencies, and budgets.
  • Agency experience desirable
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong ability to partner, consult, and influence stakeholders across all organizational levels
  • Customer intimacy in B2B and B2C channel working alongside key stakeholder to drive adoption of key initiatives
Skills & Attributes:

Effective balance of strategic thinking and practical execution to drive change and achieve results Ability to translate brand strategy into activation to deliver business results Strong presentation skills for communicating complex information to various audiences and stakeholder Creative and operational mindset with strong organizational, analytical, time-management, and project management skills. Ability to think critically, establish strategic plans, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines. Results-oriented, self-driven, and internally motivated. Proficiency in standard computer applications (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Travel:

Some travel required to engage with key customer groups and agency partners.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$123,721.66 - $199,300.00
