Job summary

Boston Globe Media’s Marketing team seeks a Designer to bring campaigns and brand projects to life through strong visual design. The role emphasizes production while contributing fresh ideas for digital and print assets.

You’ll work with the Senior Designer and Creative Director to deliver assets across channels, sustain brand guidelines, and support events and partnerships with proactive design input.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional design experience in marketing/advertising/media
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and familiarity with Canva/Figma preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and adapt marketing materials across digital and print channels.
• Resize, edit, and repurpose creative for different channels and audiences
• Prepare final files for production; ensure brand and technical specs are met
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and visual standards
• Collaborate with Senior Designer, Creative Director, and Marketing leads
• Provide design support for partnerships, events, and campaigns
• Manage multiple design requests and deadlines with attention to detail
