About The Role

Common App is seeking a Brand Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This role supports brand, digital, and content marketing efforts, as well as event planning and logistics. Reporting to the Director of Brand and Operations, the coordinator will collaborate across teams to develop marketing campaigns, analyze event outcomes, create content, and help execute marketing events in a virtual-first work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze event goals and outcomes to measure success.
  • Compile reports on user needs and marketing performance.
  • Create marketing content including graphics, blog posts, and social media materials.
  • Support event planning and coordination across departments.
  • Communicate with internal and external teams to keep projects on schedule and aligned with goals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of marketing processes and results.

Qualifications

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in marketing, including graphic design and/or video production.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and marketing technology tools.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a virtual team setting.
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics preferred.
  • Passion for higher education and mission-driven work is highly valued.
