Job summary

Co-Star is seeking a talented Brand Designer to shape how the brand shows up outside the app, in campaigns and editorial work. This freelance engagement offers part-time starting work with potential for a longer-term partnership as the team grows.

You’ll collaborate with leadership on campaigns and visual storytelling across earned and owned channels. The role prefers someone with a fresh, opinionated design foundation and a strong portfolio of expressive work in print and digital.

Qualifications

• Senior IC with a strong portfolio of expressive, culturally fluent graphic design across print and digital
• Typography and composition as primary strengths
• Ability to direct campaigns and shape visual storytelling
• Strong remote work and independent working style
• Familiarity with visual culture across fashion, art, publishing, music, and internet

Responsibilities

• Design campaign visuals: ads, social, launches — from concept through finished assets
• Bring editorial design sensibility to owned channels: email/welcome series, blog, campaign imagery
• Develop visual systems that are expressive rather than corporate
• Partner with marketing on the look and feel of earned and owned channels
• Collaborate asynchronously with a small, fast-moving team
