Job description

As a Brand Designer at Superpower, you'll play a crucial role in establishing our position as the brand leader in our industry.

You will work in Superpower's Brand Studio team which is a multidisciplinary team comprising design, imagery, video, writing, and operations. It influences all aspects of our company's visual presence, ensuring consistency and excellence across every touchpoint.

The ideal candidate is someone experienced in brand systems and marketing execution. You'll drive visual design strategy across web, layout, and experience design while maintaining and evolving our brand identity system. You'll collaborate with our Creative Director, fellow Brand Designers, and cross-functional partners to bring Superpower's vision to life through our website, advertising, and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

In the early days of the company, you will be a generalist designer with a product lens who will work on many different parts of the org, including but not limited to :

  • Brand Design : Create compelling visual designs across our marketing channels, website, and brand touchpoints. Maintain and evolve our brand identity system while ensuring consistency.
  • Campaign Creation : We will have all sorts of campaigns such as The Founder Health Coalition, and The World's Healthiest Hoodie. You may be expected to assist with developing creative concepts that elevate Superpower's presence across socials, web, and print.
  • Design System : Build and maintain our brand design system, including typography, color, imagery, and component libraries. Document guidelines for cross-functional use.
  • Marketing Support : Design marketing collateral, sales materials, presentation decks, and digital assets that align with our brand strategy and drive business goals.
  • Visual Strategy : Partner with the Design Lead to develop visual strategies that differentiate Superpower. Contribute to creative direction for photoshoots, video content, and experiential design.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, product, and content to deliver cohesive brand experiences. Provide creative solutions that meet business objectives while maintaining brand integrity.

What You Need

  • Minimum 4 years of agency / team experience or equivalent
  • Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating visually appealing and thoughtful designs
  • Proficiency in design software : Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • A refined grasp of design fundamentals : typography, color, and layout
  • Experience with figma design libraries, motion

While we focus on raw talent above experience, we are generally looking for people with 3-5 years of professional work experience in a similar role, ideally at an early-stage or growth-stage tech startup or ad / design agency.
