Job summary

Newell Brands in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Brand Design Intern for the 12-week CAMP program (May 17–August 6, 2027). You will support the Design Team across packaging, digital content, and brand consistency, gaining hands-on experience with our trusted consumer brands.

This paid internship includes mentorship, assignments led from start to finish, and opportunities to present to leadership. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Graphic Design program with a strong portfolio and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Graphic Design, Communication Design or a related field.
Strong passion for design with a keen eye for typography, layout and color.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Basic knowledge of packaging design and print production processes.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Portfolio that demonstrates strong design fundamentals and creative problem‑solving.

Responsibilities

Packaging Design: support packaging graphics, dielines, and copy following brand guidelines.
Digital Content Development: create ecommerce images, banners, social media graphics, and emails.
Brand Consistency: apply typography, color, and imagery standards across deliverables.
Collaboration and Support: work with creative team and marketing partners, present work.
Administrative Tasks: perform various duties related to the Brand Design team.
