Job summary

Carnival Cruise Lines seeks a Director, Brand Information Security Officer (BISO) to lead the brand's cybersecurity program, aligning GCS services with business objectives and driving risk-informed decision making.

Responsibilities include governance, incident remediation, vulnerability management, and security consulting across the brand. Strong leadership, executive communication, and 10+ years in cyber leadership are required. In-office with some flexibility in Miami area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, GSLC, ISO 27001, C-CISO, or equivalent cybersecurity, risk, governance, or compliance certifications preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT risk, governance, compliance, or technology leadership roles.
• Experience leading enterprise security programs in large and complex organizations, including audits, compliance initiatives, incident response, remediation, vulnerability management, cyber risk programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the brand’s cybersecurity strategy and governance program in alignment with Global Cybersecurity Services.
• Oversee remediation governance, vulnerability management, and incident response coordination across the brand and GCS.
• Represent and own delivery of defined GCS services to the brand, gathering and prioritizing business, tech, security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Provide trusted security advisory to business and technology leadership, translating complex concepts into business-focused priorities.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across brand teams, GCS, legal, privacy, audit, and operations to achieve security outcomes.
• Build and lead teams, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in security maturity.
