First Databank (FDB) is currently seeking a Brand Communications Manager in the Marketing department. The Brand & Communications Manager owns FDB’s brand voice and public narrative – including editorial planning, social presence, media relations, customer stories, and the website editorial layer – and leads the cross‑functional content programs that keep that story consistent, credible, and clinically accurate across every channel.
This is a hands‑on opportunity for an experienced brand and communications professional who wants to own meaningful scope inside a growing healthcare technology marketing team. The Brand & Communications Manager will manage vendor and agency relationships, lead content programs that span Product Marketing, Sales, Legal, Clinical and Executive stakeholders, and help position FDB’s brand consistently as the company expands from drug knowledge provider to clinical guidance partner.
This position is based out of our South San Francisco, CA, Durham, NC or Carmel, IN office and follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to work onsite at least three days per week.

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in San Francisco, CA. The reasonable estimate is $116,000 to $147,000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in location. If this role is open to candidates outside of location, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location.
