The role focuses on maintaining and elevating the Worthington Enterprises brand with internal and external audiences. The intern will support employee engagement, social media, websites, research, content development, community engagement, philanthropy and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Excellent research and writing skills and attention to detail are a must.
• Computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Canva.
• Design skills and an open mind toward using artificial intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
• Ability to juggle several assignments at once and to work independently to complete them.
• Comfortable engaging internally and externally as a member of the Worthington Enterprises team.
• Current sophomore or junior working toward a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or public relations or related field

Responsibilities

• Fulfills Corporate Communications intern program project focused on the wide variety of functions involved in upholding and enhancing the Worthington Enterprises brand
• Assists with developing content for digital platforms
• Monitors Worthington Enterprises media coverage and social media presence
• Supports Communications team as assigned
