Corning’s Corporate Communications team is seeking a Summer 2027 communications intern to support design projects and priorities. The intern will help create collateral and templated toolkits for internal and external stakeholders, while collaborating with designers to uphold Corning’s brand identity.

Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design (juniors or seniors) and be available for 10 weeks May–August 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
• Junior or senior status.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Familiarity with Figma, After Effects, and PowerPoint is a plus.
• Strong typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy understanding.
• Ability to work within brand guidelines and create on-brand print and digital materials.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to take feedback and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
