Job summary

Family Express, a community-focused retailer, seeks a Sales Associate who interacts professionally with customers and represents our Living Brand. You will engage customers, handle transactions, and maintain store standards while supporting team goals.

Position requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to travel between locations when needed, with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. This role is non-exempt and reports to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and multitask effectively.
• Basic math and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed the Family Express culture by building customer relationships.
• Perform daily accounting, banking, and auditing functions as directed.
• Operate and maintain store equipment responsibly.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and image standards through audits and merchandising.
• Assist Store Manager with recruiting quality applicants.
• Ensure store security and safety for customers and employees, reporting incidents.
• Support merchandising and product availability to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Execute merchandising plans to display and promote products in-store.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
