Job summary

Cumulus Media | Nashville is seeking a Part-Time Promotions Assistant to support on-site events and community engagement. You’ll assist with planning, promotions, and digital campaigns while representing our radio stations at events and online.

A friendly, outgoing personality and solid computer skills are essential for success in this role. Key duties include event setup, prize fulfillment, social media updates, and collaboration with the Promotions and Marketing Department.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years' radio experience with customer service
• Must be 21 years of age or older; college education preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable with a flexible schedule; available to work at least 20 hours per week including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• May require lifting up to 50 pounds; stand for extended periods
• Outgoing, energetic and responsible; strong social media skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and executing promotional events and digital campaigns
• Set up and break down remote broadcasts and station events; troubleshoot issues on the fly
• Represent stations at events in an upbeat, friendly manner
• Data entry of promotional events and contesting
• Create e-blasts and social media posts; review promotional information and graphics
• Inventory and maintenance of prize closet and event calendars
• Support Promotions and Marketing Department with projects
• Drive station vehicles with attached trailer; vehicle inspections and maintenance
