Job summary

New Belgium Brewing Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to execute priority merchandising across major accounts, driving brand visibility and sales in the local market. The role may also support sampling and promotional events.

You will build retailer relationships, educate partners on brands, and perform store audits while complying with alcohol regulations. 15–20 hours weekly, with evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of customer service experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to have transportation to event locations.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• General knowledge of brewing and the beer industry.
• Knowledge of local alcohol laws and ability to pass TIPS training during orientation.
• Exceptional public speaking ability.
• Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve matters effectively.

• Support brand visibility within key accounts.
• Educate retail partners on New Belgium brands and programs.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and alcohol regulations.
• Work up to 15-20 hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience / Skills

• Minimum six (6) months of customer service related work experience
• Must be 21 or older

• Exceptional customer service skills and abilities
• General knowledge of brewing and the beer industry
• Knowledge and understanding of local laws/guidelines around identification and service of alcohol and ability to pass TIPS training during orientation
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to speak in front of larges groups
• Ability to deal with difficult situations and resolve matter appropriately and effectively

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25lbs
• The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.
