Job summary

The successful candidate will help maintain the professional appearance of the teller area, assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, and support sales referrals and notary duties as credentialed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of retail banking experience including cash handling.
• Previous supervisory and sales experience preferred.
• E-Verify used for employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Run a teller cash drawer for daily branch needs.
• Sign official checks up to $50,000 and complete teller overrides.
• Process savings, checking, and holiday savings accounts, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Balance teller drawers daily and resolve discrepancies, reporting as required.
• Maintain professional teller area and dress code per bank policy.
• Handle vault cash with dual control and oversee cash shipments.
• Open/close branch following security procedures.
• Complete mandatory BSA/ AML training and comply with regulations.
• Make outbound sales calls and cross-sell bank products.
