Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead daily branch operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence at the Atlanta location.

You will coach and empower teams, manage scheduling and onboarding, drive continuous improvement, and partner with Sales, Customer Service Centers, and onsite teams to improve metrics and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years customer service and sales experience.
• 2+ years management experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to relocate to another branch in 2 years.
• Competence with SAP and other computer software.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help lead daily branch operations to ensure customer service and operational excellence.
• Help improve company projects and results with branch teams.
• Create and promote an environment where team members are empowered and engaged in company success.
• Work with members of the branch leadership team.
• Report to an Operations Manager or Branch Manager.
• Provide customer service and direction regarding daily team activities at the branch location.
• Clarify direction for team members by projects, priorities, and company strategy; provide continued feedback.
• Help improve operational metrics in customer satisfaction, sales, safety, and operational improvements.
• Provide a creative customer experience and ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
• Provide frequent, direct, and candid feedback to strengthen or enhance skills needed to run branch operations.
• Monitor counter transactions and provide appropriate guidance to team members.
• Facilitate team member onboarding and ongoing training.
• Build work schedules to ensure productivity and staffing levels.
• Assess processes for improvement opportunities using Continuous Improvement methodology.
• Suggest and implement changes to enhance defined processes and improve sales and service.
• Foster relationships between internal partners including Sales, Branch Network, Customer Service Centers, and Onsite Services teams.
• May take and respond to emergency customer calls after hours
