Job summary

FNBO is seeking a Branch Supervisor to supervise tellers, oversee teller work, and ensure employees deliver an exceptional customer experience. The Supervisor will provide leadership in the absence of the Branch Manager.

This role emphasizes coaching, staffing, compliance, and training opportunities, with ongoing feedback, branch meetings, and mentoring of the teller team; onsite work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Leadership ability and prior management experience.
  • Retail banking experience is preferred.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee tellers and teller work to ensure exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide coaching and feedback in one-on-one meetings.
  • Ensure adequate staff coverage for customer flow.
  • Address compliance and operational issues; identify training opportunities.
  • Lead branch meetings and mentor the teller team.
  • Perform teller duties as needed to minimize risk.
  • Support branch audits and pass onsite/offsite assessments.

We care about our employees’ well-being personally and professionally.Key Accountabilities:This role is the “go to person” in the branch for the day to day successful operation of a branch when the Branch Manager is not present.Conduct one-on-one employee meetings with assigned team members to provide coaching and feedbackProvide performance feedback to the manager on teller performance, begin performance review and performance improvement in the HR system and submit to manager.Responsible to ensure there is adequate staff coverage to handle anticipated customer flow.Ensure assigned team members resolve any compliance and operational issues. Identify and recommend any additional training opportunities.Partner with branch manager to suggest and assist in facilitating branch meetings/huddles.Partner with leadership to recognize individual/team success in addition to acting as a mentor to develop the teller team.Effectively demonstrate and perform Teller duties as required to minimize the bank’s risk.Demonstrate advanced knowledge of policies and procedures to be an operational resource for the team.
