Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises is hiring for a Branch Specialist role focused on greeting members, determining service needs, and guiding them to the correct area. In DMV locations, transactions are completed per state rules, while other locations handle typical AAA services and customer support.

You will provide travel planning materials, assist with hotel and car bookings, promote memberships, and manage payments and renewals, including Travel Money products.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• 1-3 years Branch Specialist 1 and/or 2 or related experience required.
• Basic computer literacy and data input skills.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment and perform basic accounting duties.
• Ability to work quickly and handle multiple tasks or assignments on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Greet members by phone and in person and determine the nature of service required.
• Provide DMV-related services where applicable and process transactions per state regulations.
• Prepare TripTiks, maps, and travel-related materials for members.
• Assist with hotel and car reservations and promote AAA memberships.
• Process payments, upgrades, renewals, and Travel Money product transactions.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare daily deposits.
• Perform notary services where allowed.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities based on member needs.

Job Summary

Greets members by phone and in person and determines the nature of service required. Either provides requested services or directs them to the appropriate area. In locations providing DMV license services, processes transactions and resolves routine problems. Provides high level of customer service according to Club's Quality Assurance Standards.

Job Duties

• In States offering DMV license services, provides registration services to members; maintains current knowledge of DMV regulations and completes all transactions according to State DMV and Club procedures.
• Prepares TripTiks®; provides maps, tour books and other travel-related materials.
• Assists members with hotel and/or car reservations.
• Promotes and sells AAA memberships.
• Processes membership payments. Upgrades basic memberships to those with higher value (Plus, Premier, etc.); offers automatic renewal feature.
• Processes insurance payments and offers automatic renewal.
• Issues passport photos and IDP’s.
• Processes Travel Money product transactions; provides merchandise and attraction ticket sales.
• Balances and reconciles cash drawer; prepares daily deposits.
• Performs notary services in accordance with the National Notary Association and Club procedures.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities based on members’ product needs and service.
