Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Security Officer to manage security within an assigned branch or building, with potential to float to multiple locations. You will greet visitors, monitor activity, report unusual events, and provide leadership during escalated or life-safety incidents. Assist colleagues with security and safety issues.

Education: High School required; Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred. 2–4 years security or law enforcement experience is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School required.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred for this role.
• 2–4 years security or law enforcement preferred; basic to intermediate security skills required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage visitor identification, screening and registration.
• Conduct building security checks and monitor surroundings.
• Maintain guard post and operate security equipment (surveillance, alarms).
• Serve as building Office Security Coordinator and assist with location needs.
• Perform routine system reviews and submit service tickets for repairs.
• Ensure adherence to security protocol and support incident response.
• Coordinate emergency readiness drills and evacuations.
• Take photos and assist with photo ID/access processes.
