Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the Bank’s in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
• Previous customer service contact experience is highly desired.
• Ability to demonstrate a sales-oriented professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills; Verbal and written skills in Spanish or extra language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate with accuracy and efficiency with core banking systems and processing transactions with a sales associate cash drawer.
• Balance assigned cash daily and adhere to security procedures and cash limits.
• Adhere to cash differences/controllable losses policy.
• Identify customers and verify identifications, endorsements, cash, checks, and transfers with supervisor approval.
• Comply with all department policies and security measures.
• Prepare currency transaction reports and logs per Bank Secrecy Act and KYC/OFAC policies.
• Contribute to monthly branch or individual scorecard goals through performance and action plans.
• Deliver excellent customer service by following sales and service standards.
• Promote and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Communicate bank products and services effectively to clients.
• May require hours outside normal schedule to meet business needs.
