Job summary

Carrier Enterprise, Rock Hill, SC, is seeking a Branch Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and support to HVAC/R professionals who visit our location.

You will process orders, manage inventory, assist with troubleshooting, and support sales initiatives in a fast-paced branch environment, with monthly performance bonuses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations to help them find the right HVAC/R products and supplies for their needs.
• Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all items are available, properly priced, and invoiced correctly.
• Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications, compatibility, and pricing.
• Monitor and replenish floor stock, conduct regular inventory counts, and report discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting and finding solutions to technical issues related to HVAC/R equipment and components.
• Promote sales initiatives and upsell products when appropriate.
• Provide warehouse operations support, including receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming merchandise.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and product organization.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks; ensure safety standards and organized counter/warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R products, equipment, and components.
• Excellent customer service skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computerized sales and inventory management systems.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to access products and supplies.
• May need to operate a forklift; prior forklift certification preferred.
