Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking a Full-Time Branch Sales Associate for our Rock Hill, SC location. You will greet HVAC/R professionals, provide product knowledge, and process orders while delivering exceptional service.

You will maintain inventory accuracy, assist with warehouse tasks, and support sales initiatives to upsell and grow branch performance. A focus on safety and teamwork helps ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably HVAC/R industry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R products, equipment, and components.
• Excellent customer service, active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computerized sales and inventory management systems.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• May require forklift operation; forklift certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations for HVAC/R products.
• Process customer orders accurately, ensure items are available, priced correctly, and invoiced.
• Maintain understanding of HVAC/R product inventory, specifications, and pricing.
• Monitor and replenish floor stock, conduct inventory counts, report discrepancies.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting and solving HVAC/R equipment issues.
• Promote sales initiatives and upsell products when appropriate.
• Provide warehouse support, including receiving, inspecting, and stocking merchandise.
• Support inventory accuracy through counts and stock replenishment.
• Safely operate forklifts as needed and maintain a clean counter/warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

In the Branch Sales Associate role, you will be the face of our branch, providing exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and support to HVAC/R professionals and contractors who visit our location. Your enthusiasm for the industry, excellent communication skills, and commitment to delivering top-notch customer service will be key to your success.

This position is eligible for monthly performance-based bonuses and incentives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations to help them find the right HVAC/R products and supplies for their needs.
• Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all requested items are available, properly priced, and invoiced correctly.
• Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications, compatibility, and pricing.
• Monitor and replenish floor stock, conduct regular inventory counts, and report discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting and finding solutions to technical issues related to HVAC/R equipment and components.
• Promote sales initiatives and special offers while identifying opportunities to upsell products when appropriate.
• Provide warehouse operations support, including receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming merchandise.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and product organization.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized counter and warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:
