California Bank & Trust in La Jolla, CA is hiring a Branch Relationship Banker (Personal Banker) to build long-term client relationships and deliver comprehensive financial services. The role emphasizes proactive sales and exceptional service to both new and existing clients.

The position requires 1+ years in sales or related banking roles, strong customer service and communication skills, and basic computer proficiency. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule and potential relocation within 30 miles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ years in sales, teller, new accounts or loan processing or other directly related experience.
• Preferred experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role.
• Solid knowledge of retail products, services, transactions, and basic consumer lending applications.
• Proven customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Demonstrated skills in effective selling, cross-selling, and referring financial products to meet client needs.
• Strong mathematical, problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.

We are seeking a full-time Branch Relationship Banker (Personal Banker) to join California Bank & Trust in La Jolla , CA . The Branch Relationship Banker plays a key role in delivering comprehensive financial services and cultivating long-term client relationships to support branch success.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $22 - $29 hourly depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
