Job summary

Nevada State Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, currently seeks a Branch Relationship Banker for the Mountain City branch in Elko, NV. The role focuses on delivering full-service banking, sales and service, and referral of products to meet customer needs.

Candidates should have 1 year of universal/personal banking experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 1 years’ experience as a universal banker/personal banker or similar retail banking role.
• Previous experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of mathematical calculations and standard banking products, services, and transactions.
• Strong knowledge of all retail products and services.
• Basic knowledge of consumer lending applications.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective selling, cross-selling and referral skills.
• Strong mathematical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-service banking services to new and existing customers within the branch, with a primary focus on sales and service.
• D o not forget: Resolve client concerns through direct personal action or by referring clients to an alternative bank department resource.
• Be responsible for making appropriate referrals for other bank products and services, including commercial lending products.
• Follow up with clients as needed.
• If needed, be responsible to perform cash transactions, open or update accounts, originate and close consumer or small business loans.
• Be responsible to resolve customer service issues.
• Establish, expand and maintain a strong customer relationship by providing extensive, personalized service focused on the specific needs of each banking customer.

We are now accepting applications for a Branch Relationship Banker to join the team located at our Mountain City branch inElko, NV. Branch hours are Monday through Friday.

Essential Functions:

• Perform full-service banking services to new and existing customers within the branch, with a primary focus on sales and service. Duties may include new accounts, consumer loans, and performing client services issues.
