You will verify branch-reported figures against the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and support month-end close while maintaining accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with solid accounting knowledge
• 1–3 years of comparable experience
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• Computer literate with strong Excel skills
• Proven prompt and regular attendance

Responsibilities

• Review, compare, and verify branch figures to general ledger and other systems monthly; adjust figures as needed
• Prepare month-end reports for validation prior to close
• Reconcile and finalize branch month-end figures; verify bonuses and payroll adjustments
• Notify field supervisors if final profit figures change after month-end
• Process month-end import into PeopleSoft and resolve discrepancies
• Review branch expenses weekly to ensure payments comply with policy
• Analyze and correct branch figures from reports and record journal entries
• Process daily cash reports for upload into PeopleSoft
• Process daily funding reports for repayment and prepaid card processes
• Reconcile stand-alone bank accounts for non-ECM branches
• Resolve branch disbursement/receipts issues; deliver internal customer service
• Provide operational support for prepaid card payments and monitor inventory
• Verify AP Vendor setup for ACH payments
• Verify dealer ACH information and activate dealers in Branch Plus
• Verify NSF item processing/reversal timely
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
