Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to manage daily and monthly reconciliations of GL accounts, internal DDAs, and control accounts.

You will alert the Reconcilement Supervisor to any out-of-balance conditions and take corrective action to resolve outages. The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to learn new systems, and collaboration with business lines to research discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Clear, concise written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn various Banking Software programs.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate and timely processing of daily, weekly, and monthly reconcilement of GL accounts, internal DDAs, and control accounts.
• Collaborates with peers and leaders effectively.
• Demonstrates a willingness to change processes and technological capabilities.
• Learns new systems and processing in order to streamline and scale work.
• Performs work within customer service level expectations and key vendor processing timelines.
• Performs daily work as defined with accuracy.
