Job summary

Drillers Service, Inc (DSI) is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Millersville, MD to direct all warehouse activities and assist the Branch Manager in maximizing profits for the branch territory. The role ensures staff adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key duties include supervising warehouse and operations staff, inside sales support, staff hiring/training, inventory control, and coordinating accounts receivable.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising warehouse and operations staff.
• Ability to provide products and services based on customer needs.
• Experience interviewing, hiring and training new employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all warehouse and operations positions within the branch to ensure tasks are completed and policies followed.
• Provide products and services based on customer needs through inside sales functions.
• Assist in determining staff requirements; hire and train new employees.
• Support sales reps using policy, product knowledge, and future opportunities.
• Maintain inventory control and cycle counts in coordination with Purchasing.
