DSI Assistant Branch Manager in Millersville, MD leads warehouse and operations and supports purchasing and distribution to maximize profits while meeting market demands.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, inside sales, hiring/training, inventory control, warranty claims, developing new markets, managing AR, and flexible scheduling. Salary is $70,000–$80,000 per year with bonus opportunities.

• Supervise all warehouse and operations positions within the branch to ensure tasks are accomplished and policies followed.
• Provide products and services based on customer needs through inside sales functions.
• Assist in determining staff requirements; hire and train new employees.
• Supports sales representatives utilizing company policy, product knowledge, procedures, and future opportunities.
• Maintain inventory control and cycle counts; coordinate with Purchasing.
• Oversee warranty claims processing to vendors monthly.
• Develop new markets and customers.
• Assist in managing Branch Accounts Receivable.
• Serve as floater for all positions within the Branch to accommodate scheduling needs.
• Must multitask and learn new processes; must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Performs other related duties as needed.
