Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee all aspects of branch operations in a safety‑driven, customer‑focused environment. You will drive growth through strategic sales management and strong client relationships while ensuring recruitment, training, and performance management of branch staff.

Lead daily operations, manage P&L, and maintain facilities to uphold BrightView’s high standards. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Horticulture, or an equivalent combination of landscape industry experience and education.
• 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in landscaping, operations, or a service-based industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and understand financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and operational compliance practices.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in team development, motivation, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant business software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee the delivery of operational services and supervise teams to ensure consistent, high-quality performance.
• Maintain branch facilities, physical assets, and equipment to provide a professional, safe, and organized working environment.
• Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and accountability of tools and resources.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet or exceed annual growth targets.
• Manage and support the sales team to maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline.
• Supervise teams to ensure delivery of high-quality services and a superior customer experience.
• Respond to customer concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners.
• Monitor client feedback and implement service improvements to drive retention.
• Manage branch P&L, including revenue, expenses, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure timely billing and collections to support cash flow and financial health.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through cross-selling or new services.
• Track performance against KPIs and implement improvements to maximize profitability.
• Ensure strict adherence to EHS policies and promote a culture of safety.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop branch staff; set performance expectations.
• Foster a positive branch culture emphasizing engagement, accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
