Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an PC Operations Manager to support operations with emphasis on customer service, staff development, fleet utilization, and maximizing profits. You will develop standards, train staff, ensure safety compliance, and optimize fleet and processes.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in rental equipment or construction industries.
• 1 year in operations management or related/retail management.
• Excellent management and leadership skills.
• Exceptional organization skills.
• Strong problem solving with corrective actions.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, Internet/Intranet and Wynne system.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain rental operation standards with the Profit Center Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain customer service levels above standards.
• Deliver a consistent message by all customer service staff.
• Train and develop rental operations staff.
• Improve equipment quality and reduce driver loading time.
• Control fleet quality and manage related costs.
• Coach staff and create actionable plans.
• Motivate through evaluation and reviews.
• Set clear, measurable team objectives.
• Direct staff in store-related roles.
• Develop, evaluate and motivate staff.
• Maximize operational efficiencies.
• Recommend new processes for quality and cost improvements.
• Conduct safety audits and training; comply with OSHA and DOT.
• Manage HR administration (payroll/scheduling/paperwork).
• Explain billing procedures to customers to build trust.
• Assist customers in determining rental needs.
• Manage the yard operations.
• Perform daily and weekly truck audits.
• Communicate inventory levels to management.
• Hold daily meetings on objectives and safety issues.
• Maintain a well-organized, safe premises.
