Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Branch Manager in Sterling, VA to lead branch operations for grounds maintenance, enhancements, and irrigation. You will drive safety, quality, and financial goals while developing employees, sub-contractors, and sales interactions to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will partner with company leaders to implement strategic goals, manage client relationships, oversee payroll and vendor contracts, and ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–10 years of experience leading multiple landscape operations.
• Experience effectively managing others.
• Proficiency with Aspire is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement goals and processes to grow grounds maintenance and seasonal services.
• Drive a culture of product delivery and improve customer experience with sales team.
• Ensure effective communication protocols to maintain quality on client properties.
• Manage client relationships and internal departments to optimize processes.
• Resolve property issues and keep clients informed at each stage.
• Oversee billing, accounts payable, payroll, and sub-contractor contracts/payments.
• Ensure branch safety training, daily safety meetings, and PPE management.
• Train crews, analyze production standards, and share best practices.
• Evaluate equipment use and participate in estimating for services.
• Recruit, hire, and manage branch personnel to meet goals.
• Manage team performance and accountability.
