Job summary

BrightStar Credit Union is seeking a Member Relationship Specialist to assist our growing community by delivering exceptional service and guiding members to suitable financial solutions at our branches across Florida.

The role emphasizes personalized engagement, sales of credit union products, and accurate handling of teller transactions, new accounts, and compliance with BSA/OFAC and privacy policies. Weekend rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on results, acting in the member's best interest.
• Must be able to participate in the Saturday rotation schedule and operate basic office hardware (10-key).
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with a personalized rewarding experience by executing engagement strategies and leveraging sales skills.
• Process teller transactions accurately with a high degree of accuracy and adhere to over/short policy.
• Process new accounts and account maintenance with quality assurance and cross-sell solutions.
• Maintain dependability and proactively manage attendance and leave.
• Meet or exceed ancillary product sales referral goals.
• Demonstrate professionalism and a team-oriented approach while upholding policies and privacy.
