Job summary

Suncoast Credit Union is seeking a Branch Customer Representative (Member Advocate) in Florida to deliver friendly, professional teller service and build lasting member relationships. You will conduct deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and transfers while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Role emphasizes member advisory support, product knowledge, and ongoing competency growth within the branch team. Full-time hours align with branch operation schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience with a financial institution or similar customer service role.
• General math proficiency to balance cash drawer and reconcile accounts.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members to the credit union branch providing excellent member service.
• Identify ways to improve members’ financial life.
• Present and advise members about Suncoast Credit Union products and services to meet their financial needs.
• Provide answers to members’ questions.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of day and conduct teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers).
• Assist with servicing ATM, night drop vault, coin machine, and CDM.
