Position:

Branch Manager Trainee

Hours of Work:
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00AM-5:00PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00AM-7:00PM
  • Friday: 9:00AM-5:30PM
  • Seasonal Saturday hours as needed

Full-Time, Non-Exempt. Work schedule may change based on business needs and time zone requirements.

Supervisory Responsibility:

None

Reports To:

Branch Manager

In This Role, You Will:
  • Complete a training program covering all aspects of branch operations.
  • Support the Branch Manager in daily operations.
  • Assist in sales and collections through excellent customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide quality service to customers seeking loans.
  • Meet sales and branch goals.
  • Review and approve loan applications within authority limits.
  • Learn all branch functions during training.
  • Assist management in daily tasks and customer retention.
  • Manage exceptions and resolve product or policy issues.
  • Support inside sales efforts and customer account maintenance.
  • Monitor expenses and review financial statements.
  • Lead the team in the absence of the Branch Manager.
  • Perform relief duties in other locations as needed.
  • Perform additional duties such as payments, loan processing, and customer contact based on needs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lending/financial services, or military rank equivalence.
  • Willing to relocate and travel as needed.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Licenses to sell insurance required.
  • Work location primarily at the assigned branch.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience in lending or financial services.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English.
Physical Demands:

Mostly sitting, occasional movement, lifting up to 20 pounds, and visual focus on screens and documents.
