Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a major location, hire and motivate a diverse team, and drive profitability and customer service excellence. You will manage branch operations, oversee sales initiatives, and ensure safety compliance while building a thriving team and a strong local presence.

You will report on financial performance, prepare budgets, and develop personnel through coaching and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with strong financial acumen.
• Experience with P&L management at a branch or profit center.
• Proven leadership and people development skills.
• Strong sales, customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service, and profitability.
• Oversee sales initiatives and growth strategies.
• Prepare reports including P&L, monthly reviews, budgets and status updates.
• Manage personnel matters and safety compliance.
• Coordinate audits, safety training, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed.
