Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Branch Manager in the United States. You will lead a team across sales, service, maintenance and drivers, ensure outstanding customer service, and build a profitable location using your business acumen, ambition and competitive spirit.

You'll manage branch operations, oversee sales initiatives, prepare financial reports, handle personnel matters and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of business management experience with P&L responsibility at a branch or profit center.
• Strong sales and customer service experience required; outside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Prepare reports including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets and other reports.
• Manage personnel matters.
• Oversee safety matters including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug/alcohol testing.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
