Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. Medina, OH is seeking a Branch Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive sales initiatives and ensure safety, service and profitability. You will hire and motivate a team across sales, service, maintenance and drivers and be responsible for branch performance.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting and customer service skills, with a background in the equipment rental industry preferred. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other profit center.
• Strong sales and customer service experience required; outside sales experience preferred.
• Understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of equipment rental industry preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets and other reports detailing operational status.
• Manage personnel matters and ensure safety compliance including OSHA and DOT regulations.
