Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Odessa, TX is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a busy equipment rental location.

You will hire and motivate a team across sales, service, maintenance and drivers, drive safety and profitability, and build strong customer relationships. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred), at least 5 years of P&L responsibility, solid sales and service experience, leadership and budgeting skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other profit center.
• Strong sales and customer service experience required; outside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Prepare reports, including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets and other reports detailing operational status.
• Manage personnel matters.
• Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug and alcohol testing.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
