Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Branch Manager to lead a major location in the United States. You will hire and motivate a diverse team across roles from sales to maintenance, ensuring excellent customer service and profitability.

Build a strong location through business acumen, leadership, and competitive drive. You’ll drive branch operations, oversee sales initiatives, manage reports and budgets, and lead safety programs including audits and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years of P&L management in a branch or profit centerpreferred.
• Strong sales and customer service experience required; leadership and communication skills essential.
• Knowledge of basic business accounting and budget preparation; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Prepare reports including P&L statements, operating reviews and budgets.
• Manage personnel matters and safety programs including audits and training.
• Oversee safety, OSHA and DOT compliance and testing.
