Job summary

Mariner Finance is seeking a full-time consumer lending professional at our United States branches. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service to loan customers, driving branch sales, and applying lending authority to approve applications.

You will learn lending/collections in the Branch Manager Training Program and support daily operations to ensure excellent customer service. You will represent a nationwide lender known for flexible lending options and an emphasis on service quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience in Consumer Lending/Financial Services, substitute allowed.
• Willingness to relocate and travel to surrounding branches as needed.
• Strong communication and PC skills for daily operations.
• Ability to complete duties accurately and on time.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Must obtain licenses to sell insurance products offered at the branch.
• Role requires presence at the assigned branch; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to existing and prospective loan customers.
• Meet branch sales and product/service targets.
• Review and approve applications using lending authority and product knowledge.
• Learn lending and collections duties during training program.
• Assist management with daily task assignment to maintain service levels.
• Approve policy exceptions as authorized; resolve product/service issues.
• Retain and upsell by contacting customers about other products.
• Support Branch Manager with priorities and coordinating daily operations.
• Monitor expenses and assist with annual business plan reviews.
• Lead the branch team in the manager's absence; coordinate across markets.
• Provide relief assignments in other markets as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support business needs.
