Sun Loan Company is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, drive profitability, and lead a team of Loan Specialists. The role emphasizes leadership, staffing, performance management, and community engagement in Bloomington, Illinois.

The ideal candidate will have loan- industry management experience or equivalent leadership in related industries, hold a valid driver's license, and be prepared for local travel.

Qualifications

• Loan industry management experience strongly preferred, or 2-3 years' prior management experience in similar customer service or collections related industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily office operations.
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
• Be a leader and mentor and accountable for training and development Loan Specialists.
• Create a culture that encourages growth, learning and success.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability.
• Establishes performance goals.
• Professionally handle adverse customer situations while maintaining a positive relationship to encourage return business.
• Approve, reject or coordinate all loan applications.
• Assist Loan Specialists with loan processing and collections calls.
• Tax preparation (may vary by location).
• Plan and develop branch growth by networking with the local community and other businesses.
• Work closely with team members to achieve branch goals.
