The role includes evaluating financial statements, setting performance goals, mentoring Loan Specialists, and coordinating loan processing. Occasional local travel (up to 5%) is required, and Sundays are not scheduled.

Qualifications

• Loan industry management experience preferred.
• 2-3 years' management experience from similar customer service or collections related industries acceptable.
• Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and valid proof of insurance.
• Some local travel may be required for team meetings (up to 5%)

Responsibilities

• Manage daily office operations.
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
• Be a leader and mentor and accountable for training and development Loan Specialists.
• Create a culture that encourages growth, learning and success.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability.
• Establish performance goals.
• Handle adverse customer situations while maintaining positive relationships.
• Approve, reject or coordinate all loan applications.
• Assist Loan Specialists with loan processing and collections calls.
• Tax preparation (may vary by location).
• Plan and develop branch growth by networking with the local community and other businesses.
• Work closely with team members to achieve branch goals.
