Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Branch Manager to direct the rental center’s sales, service, fleet maintenance and logistics to meet financial and performance goals.

The role includes responsibility for operational and financial reporting and leading a team. The candidate should have a Business Management degree or substantial rental industry experience, a valid driver’s license, strong leadership and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced outdoor/indoor work

Qualifications

• Business Management degree with at least 1 year of Rental Industry experience OR 3–4 years of Rental Industry experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record history
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Understanding of P&L and other key financial controls
• Experience in outside sales or other experience in negotiation and influencing
• Experience in construction or industrial markets helpful
• High level of accountability, time management and willingness to learn all aspects of the business

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, and Logistics for the rental center
• Achieve financial and performance goals for the unit
• Manage operational and financial reporting for the branch
• Related experience may include roles such as Operations Manager, Sales Manager, or Director roles within the region

Branch Manager

Sunbelt Rentals Branch Manager is titled "Profit Center Manager" because the role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the rental center business unit. This includes leading all aspects of Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, and Logistics, including achievement of financial and performance goals. The role is also responsible for the unit's operational and financial reporting functions.

Education and Experience

• Business Management degree with at least 1 year of Rental Industry experience OR 3-4 years of Rental Industry experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record history

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Understanding of P&L and other key financial controls

Base Pay Range

$66,500.00 - $104,500.00 (starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience).
