Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of security management or related experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Security Management or related field preferred.
CPP, PSP or similar security certifications preferred.
Must obtain and maintain Ohio Security Guard License and related certifications.
Budget and financial management experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee 24/7 security operations and lead supervisors and officers.
Recruit, hire, train, evaluate and promote staff.
Foster a professional, team-oriented environment and provide coaching.
Ensure compliance with policy, contracts and client requirements.
Manage staffing, scheduling and personnel records for continuous coverage.
Direct emergency and incident response activities and site assessments.
Build and maintain client relationships and present performance reports.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the territory and support sales team.

Position Summary:

Branch Manager

The Branch Manager oversees 24/7 security operations, leading supervisors and officers to ensure operational excellence, client satisfaction and compliance. This role serves as the primary company representative in the local market, managing branch operations while supporting growth and sales initiatives.

Leadership & Management

Lead and develop supervisors and security personnel with minimal oversight.
Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, discipline, and recommend promotions or terminations.
Foster a professional, team-oriented work environment.
Provide coaching, performance management, and employee development.

Operations

Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and client requirements.
Verify and maintain required Ohio security guard registrations and firearms qualifications.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and personnel records to support continuous 24/7 coverage.
Direct emergency and incident response activities.
Conduct site assessments and develop post orders.

Client Relations

Build and maintain strong client partnerships.
Conduct site visits and client meetings to evaluate service quality and resolve concerns.
Prepare and present operational performance reports.

Business Development

Identify and support sales opportunities within the territory.
Represent the company with prospective clients through meetings, presentations and proposals.
Partner with the sales team to convert leads into active customers.
Manage branch budgets and control costs.
Monitor financial performance and implement improvement strategies.
Ensure accurate billing and invoicing.

Compliance & Risk Management

Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
Maintain records required for audits and inspections.

Physical Requirements with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to conduct site inspections, including walking up to one-half mile.
Ability to climb stairs in multi-level facilities.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to use computers, telephones, radios, and other standard office equipment.

Licensure Requirements

Must obtain and maintain an Ohio Department of Public Safety Security Guard Registration and ID Card, including fingerprinting and background check requirements.
Must maintain all required certifications and renewals.
If assigned to armed duty, must complete required firearms training and annual qualifications.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
