Job summary

DEUTZ Corporation in the United States is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the DEUTZ Power Center operations, including all departments and staff, and to support the dealer service network within the branch area of responsibility.

The role requires driving revenue and profitability through service, parts, and engine sales, while mentoring staff, managing safety, and ensuring a professional image of the branch. Domestic travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant field and at least five years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, power generation and related powertrain components.
• Leadership experience in product support marketing and parts/service department operations.
• Must meet all requirements to drive a company service vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the product support functions, including parts and service, shop profitability, technician utilization, and warranty issues.
• Develop a budget and forecasts for the Service Center and monitor performance.
• Grow the assigned territory with engine sales, parts sales, and service business targets.
• Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the DEUTZ Service Center staff.
• Investigate and resolve customer-related issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure safety, policies, and a professional branch image; maintain clean facilities and vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operation of the DEUTZ Power Center, including all departments and staff, as well as the oversight and support of the Dealer product support network in the branch AOR. The individual will deliver the business plan on revenues and profitability for the Deutz Power Center.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the product support functions, including the parts and service business, shop profitability, technician utilization, and warranty-related issues, as well as the monitoring and management of parts inventories, inventory turns, and customer fill rates.
• Develop a budget and forecasts for the Service Center that comply with DEUTZ’s budgeted financial targets and monitor and report the center’s performance.
• In conjunction with the DEUTZ Power Center engine sales and marketing group, develop and grow the assigned territory creating new business opportunities that will support the growth targets for recent engine sales, parts sales, and the service business.
• Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the DEUTZ Service Center staff.
• Investigate and resolve all customer-related issues in a timely matter.
• Understand and ensure that all employees follow company policies and procedures, including maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ensure that the Branch facility and assigned service vehicles are clean and organized and present a positive image of DEUTZ.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant field of study and/or a minimum of five years of related experience.
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, power generation and related power train componentry.
• Leadership experience in product support marketing and parts and/or service department operations.
• Must meet all requirements to drive a company service vehicle.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in managing a branch location, involved in servicing, industrial, construction or material handling equipment.
• Ability to support sales managers with existing key customers and potential new customer acquisition at the customer’s location.
