Responsibilities

  • Maximize branch revenues, deposits and loans and minimize operating losses.
  • Perform and hold staff accountable for business development within the branch, loan generation, and referrals to other lines of business (i.e. Mortgage, Wealth Management).
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential clients by conducting calls.
  • Deploy resources to optimize individual and team performance.
  • Monitor employee activities to assist with problems, provide coaching, and take necessary actions to ensure work quality, exceptional customer service, and adherence to schedules.
  • Ensure branch compliance with bank policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Prioritize, manages, and communicates promotional campaigns and product initiatives.
  • Represent bank in local community organizations.
  • Performs general management duties, including hiring of staff, conducting performance evaluations, and promotions or terminations as necessary.
  • Responsible for development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, and meeting completion dates and sales goals.
  • Develops programs and reward systems to increase morale and reduce turnover.
  • Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements plan to meet needs.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Essential Mental & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
