Job summary

Citi in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Head Universal Banker to lead and coach the branch team while delivering exceptional service. You will handle deposits, payments, account openings, and other transactions, while guiding staff to meet sales and service goals.

In this leadership role you will mentor Universal Bankers and Tellers, champion risk controls, and ensure a digital-first client experience across in-branch, online, and mobile channels.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years relevant experience.
• Experience with face-to-face customer service, digital engagement and basic sales/referrals.
• Open, client service orientation and desire to help customers is required.
• Sales experience is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with basic computer and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Universal Bankers and Tellers by modeling service and sales behaviors.
• Guide clients and team members in complex transactions to ensure exceptional client experience.
• Monitor day-to-day operations to champion risk controls and policy compliance.
• Promote products/services and educate clients on digital channels (Online, Mobile, ATM).
• Act as a branch SME and provide coverage for branch needs as required.
• Develop and maintain a warm, welcoming environment that supports strong teamwork.
• Resolve client issues promptly and connect clients with appropriate partners as needed.
• Engage clients in the lobby to identify financial needs and drive referrals.
