Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred but not required
• 3+ years of retail banking experience or transferable equivalent
• 2+ years leadership/coaching experience and personal sales success
• 1+ year business development experience preferred
• Direct lending experience (3+ years) and ability to read/interpret balance sheets

Responsibilities

• Ensure best in class customer experience by coaching and developing branch teammates on service standards
• Implement Understanding You Customer Engagement model through role modeling and development
• Achieve balanced results in deposits, loans, branch income and noninterest expense
• Develop new business and maintain relationships; conduct community and customer events
• Hold team accountable to sales, service and operations objectives including loan growth
• Deepen customer relationships and ensure consistent service execution
• May oversee small business and consumer loan activity and portfolio management
• Responsible for all branch operations, retail processes, audits and documentation
• Maintain risk management culture and control branch losses/expenses
• Manage hiring, scheduling, coaching, and performance development
• Serve as backup for internal customer needs; collaborate with Retail Branch Admins
• May supervise others and oversee multiple branches
• Oversee facility management and security, opening/closing procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
