Job summary

Landscape America is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead operations at a Boston-area branch. This role oversees P&L, budgets, and a diverse team of managers and frontline staff, ensuring client satisfaction and safety across landscape and snow services.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in landscape or related service leadership, strong customer communication, and a proven ability to drive profitability while developing future leaders.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in the landscape, snow, or related service industry (5+ years).
• Has experience working directly with customers.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong business acumen - you understand how to run a branch like it's your own business.
• Must utilize and live by Landscape America's Core Values.
• Keeps leads and customers engaged through differentiated communications and touchpoints.
• Always promotes safety and professionalism.
• Proficiency in landscape business software (Aspire preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop all branch level managers and team members.
• Foster a culture built around Landscape America's Core Values.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and retain top talent.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
• Build future leaders through training and development.
• Own branch P&L and annual operating budget.
• Monitor financial performance and drive profitability.
• Review job costing, labor efficiency, and equipment utilization.
• Participate in Open Book Management.
• Develop action plans to improve margins and performance.
• Monitor AR and set collection goals with Branch Admin and Accounts Managers.
• Ensure exceptional quality across landscape and snow services.
• Maintain efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
• Oversee equipment, facilities, and inventory alongside Fleet Manager.
• Coordinate resources across branches.
• Reduce unbillable time - improving routines to reduce waste.
• Support Accounts Managers.
• Participate in strategic client meetings and site visits.
• Identify growth opportunities.
• Champion a culture of safety.
• Lead safety training, audits, and incident reviews.
• Develop technical and leadership training.
• Maintain organized branch facilities.
• Lead preseason planning alongside Snow Manager.
• Oversee snow event execution.
• Conduct post-season reviews.
